Lee Se-young, Sakaguchi Kentaro the main character of “Things that come after love.”
Actor Lee Se-young and famous Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi will star in the new drama “Things Come After Love.”
An entertainment official told JTBC Entertainment News on the 25th, “Lee Se-young and Sakaguchi Kentaro will work together with the drama ‘Things Come After Love.'”
“Things After Love” is based on a joint novel by writer Gong Ji-young and Japanese writer Tsuji Hitonari, published in 2005. It is a work that depicts the love between Korean women and Japanese men across the border. The original was loved enough to be a bestseller. Expectations are rising for the synergy that Lee Se-young and Sakaguchi Kentaro will create with a lyrical melodrama.
Earlier, Kentaro Sakaguchi announced the first fan meeting in Korea in September. Following his visit to Korea in the 2018 film “Tonight, At Romance Theater” and last month’s “10 Years of Remaining Life,” he announced the news of his fan meeting and drama appearance, signaling a closer relationship with Korea.
“Things After Love” is director Moon Hyun-sung’s drama debut, produced by Silver Lining Studio and directed the movie “The Great Operation of Seoul” and “The King’s Case Notebook.” Filming will take place between Korea and Japan early next year
