Chuu is kicked out. LOONA’s 11 members are on their first schedule. Chuu hearts are on their way
This month’s girl, who decided to kick out member Choo due to abusive language and power abuse against the staff, took her first step as 11 people, not 12 people, by holding a video call event with her fans as scheduled.
As a result of OSEN confirmation on the 28th, LOONA held a video call event to commemorate the release of the second single “LUMINOUS” in Japan on the 27th. The video call event is an event that occurred when face-to-face fan signing became difficult after the COVID-19 pandemic, and stars and fans can talk through video calls on a 1:1 basis.
This video call fan signing event is the first time that this month’s girl has done it after she expelled member Chu for “gapjil and abusive language.” Hyun-jin, a member who supported Chu through an online fan community, also attended the video call event without attending MBC’s “2022 FIFA Qatar World Cup Preview Show catharsis.”
As Chu was kicked out, a gloomy and chaotic atmosphere was expected, but the members gained strength by talking to fans. The members made various poses and facial expressions at the request of the fans, among which fans requested Chu’s “Biting Heart” and so-called “Chu Heart.” The members responded to the fans’ wishes by doing “Choo Heart.”
LOONA released their first single “HULA HOOP/Star Seed~クセイカ성~” in Japan in September last year. LUMINOUS is the first new single to be released in Japan in about a year in September. The title song of the same name expresses the heart that anyone can freely express themselves and shine toward those who care about the world’s gaze and want to shine on their own, but have given up.
Meanwhile, Blockberry Creative, the girl’s agency, said on the 25th, “The company’s representative apologized to the staff and is comforting them after investigating recent reports of ‘Chu’s verbal abuse’ against our staff, and we decided to take responsibility and remove Chu from the girl.”
In this regard, Chu’s manager told OSEN, “We are organizing our position. We will be able to make an official statement in the future. “We ask for your understanding that it is difficult to give a clear answer at the moment,” he said
