Kim Soo-hyun chose the drama ‘That Night’ as his next film.
Kim Soo-hyun, who delivered warm healing and emotion with the 2020 tvN drama “It’s Psycho, but It’s OK,” will return with a genre drama full of tension in 2021. It is expected to show a definitely different character and acting from the previous work, drawing keen attention.
“That Night” is a drama that explores the criminal justice system from an extremely public perspective through the intense story of two men surrounding a woman’s murder case. It is a remake of “Criminal Justice,” which aired on BBC in the U.K., to Korean sentiment.
The Studio M and Gold Medalist, founded by Lee Myung-woo, who directed numerous hit dramas such as “The Fiery Priest,” “Punch,” “Whispering,” and “The Convenience Store’s Morning Star,” will collaborate to produce them. Director Lee Myung-woo directed the book, and writer Kwon Soon-kyu, who wrote “The Warrior Baek Dong-soo” and “Awesome,” wrote the book.
Kim plays Kim Hyun-soo, a diligent and ordinary college student, and plays the role of a suspect in a murder case due to an overnight mistake. A man who uses evil to survive in a selfish and ruthless world. Expectations are high that Kim Soo-hyun, who is impressed by his outstanding immersion and performance in each work, will show a new look through “That Night.”
