JDG

Jingdong Gaming (JDG), which advanced to the semifinals of the 2022 League of Legends World Championship (LOL World Cup), will distribute 300 servings of Beijing duck to fans.

Jingdong won 3-0 against Rogue in the first game of the 2022 LOL World Cup quarterfinals at the Madison Square Garden Hulu Theater in New York City, New York, on the 21st (Korea time). The winner of the T1 and Royal Never Give Up (RNG) will face off in the semifinals at Atlanta State Farm Arena.

Jingdong said he would distribute 300 servings of Beijing duck through the official Weibo after the match. At first, Jingdong, who mentioned “food pigeon,” similar to the pronunciation of the opponent’s log, changed his words and talked about Beijing Duck.

Jingdong gave away Beijing duck and marked it as “JDG鸭’冲,” which means “Cheer up!” and “Fighting.” It also added that it is a famous food in Beijing, the hometown of Jingdong Gaming.

Weibo responded enthusiastically to Jingdong’s behavior, the first team to advance to the semifinals of the LOL World Cup. There are over 3,000 comments and almost 8,000 likes.
